The Celta Vigo manager Abel Resino has said that his team should be extremely cautious about attacking Real Madrid because the Spanish giants are extremely dangerous on the counter-attack. Real Madrid come into the match after having won the last five matches in all competitions.

Even more impressive is the fact that they have played against the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United in these five matches. Hence, they are the overwhelming favourites to get the three points during the weekend when they take on Celta Vigo, who were fighting against relegation. The team are currently 19th in the Spanish league table.

They have managed just one win in the last few matches, and many have not given them in a hope to get at least a point from the match against Real Madrid. Resino, though, is confident that his team will be able to utilise the home advantage to at least take a point from the match. He has identified the counter-attacks of Real Madrid as a major strong point for the opposition. Even though he has been able to identify the strength of the Real Madrid, Resino has said that it will be one thing to be able to stop them from using it.

“We need to play better than them. We have to make them uncomfortable. We cannot make mistakes on the ball. We also have to try also and avoid their counter attack, which is deadly. They just need two or three passes to get in front of the goalkeeper. We have worked during the week to reduce space as much as possible. In attack we have to return the ball much faster, which is what is lacking a bit in this team,” said the 53-year-old ahead of the match this weekend. His club are two points away from safety.
