TWO GERMAN CLUBS INTERESTED IN KHEDIRA
Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen are said to be interested in the signature of German ace Samir Khedira. According to reports from Germany Khedira is said to be in the twilight of his stay with Juventus.
Khedira is considered as one of the best midfield exports from Germany in the last decade. At his peak, the German was an elite box-box midfielder capable of dictating the tempo of the game with his endless running and passing ability.
However, after suffering major injuries in his time with Spanish giants Real Madrid, he moved to Juventus, where he has been a major part of their success. It is understood that Dortmund wants the midfielder to add experience and quality to the team.
Dortmund have suffered this season with inconsistency after their exceptional run last season with Bayern Munich pipping them late to win the title. The midfield, in particular, has lacked the x-factor with Thomas Delaney and Axel Witsel not creating enough chances.
Leverkusen meanwhile are looking for the player to become a key figure for the team. It is understood that Khedira is weighing up his options and will make a decision in the coming weeks.
Another player that could leave Juventus in January is Mario Mandzukic with English giants Manchester United interested in his services. The Croatia forward has been frozen out from the team after failing to secure a move in the summer.
Manchester United are said to have offered the forward a short-term deal as they look to increase their options in attack. Emre Can is another player that could also leave according to reports from Italy.
