JUVENTUS EXPECTED LINEUP VS AJAX
Juventus are looking to make it into the Semifinals for the first time since 2016 as they face a young Ajax side in the return leg of the quarterfinals on Tuesday. The Dutch side had dominated the first leg with a number of attempts but Juventus managed the game expertly coming away with a priceless away goal from a Cristiano Ronaldo diving header.
Emre Can is expected to be fit for the clash having missed the first leg at Amsterdam as a result of a back injury. While Cuadrado is also back from injury having featured in the game at SPAL.
WojciechSzczesny is expected to man the sticks in goal as the Polish international was exceptional last week. Joao Cancelo provided the cross for Ronaldo and was at fault for the equalizer but he should retain his spot at right-back alongside Brazilian full-back Alex Sandro.
Danielle Rugani and Leonardo Bonucci were impressive in the first leg and would continue their partnership in the centredefence.
The midfield should remain the same with Bentancur, Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi forming the midfield three. Sami Khedira and Emre Can could start the match depending on what tactics Allegri favours on the day.
We expect Juventus to be more proactive in attack and this could mean that Allegri could drop Mario Mandzukic in favour of Dybala alongside Bernardeschi and Ronaldo.
Allegri would be able to call on talented youngster Moise Kean and pacey forward Douglas Costa on the bench.
Expected line-up:
Szczesny; Cancelo, Bonucci, Rugani, Sandro; Bentancur, Pjanic, Matuidi; Dybala, Ronaldo, Bernardeschi
Prediction Juventus: 3-2 winners.
