Sami Khedira and Gonzalo Higuain were celebrated for their heroics in the colours of Italian club Juventus. Italian media outlet Juvefc posted a throwback video on January 29 to celebrate the fifth year anniversary of the 2-0win over home team Sassuolo in the league as recently retired German midfielder Sami Khedira and Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain were celebrated for hitting the back of the net during the Serie A game.

The said Italian Serie A game between hosts Sassuolo and Juventus was held at the Mapei Stadium. Juventus scored an early goal in the game on the way to an impressive away through Higuain also known as El Pipita. Higuain scored from close range after Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro provided the cross for him having been released by Croatian star Mario Mandzukic on the left flank.

German midfielder Sami Khedira played at TV Oeffingen before he joined the VfB youth team in 1995. Sami Khedira was called up to VfB Stuttgart first team squad by manager Armin Veh during the first months of the 2006/07 season. He made his Stuttgart debut shortly after his invitation to the Bundesliga squad at Stuttgart.

Sami Khedira played his first game for Stuttgart against capital club Hertha Berlin on the first of October 2006. The midfielder came on as a second half substitute for Antonio da Silva as Hertha Berlin and Stuttgart shared a four-goal thriller equally. His first game for Stuttgart ended in a 2-2 draw at the home of Hertha Berlin.

Sami Khedira has come to the defence of Cristiano Ronaldo who was a teammate during his time with Italian Serie A giants Juventus. Portuguese international Ronaldo has always come under criticisms because of his defensive work and Khedira does not think the defensive side of the game is a must for the five-time Ballon d’Or player.
German World Cup winner Sami Khedira sat down with Italian newspaper La Gazzettadello Sport last month to talk about Juventus, Ronaldo, Allegri and many more. Khedira was a Juventus from the summer of 2015 until February 2021 when he was released from the six months left on his contract at the club. The ex-VfB Stuttgart and Real Madrid man would later sign for German capital club Hertha Berlin as a free agent. He was at Hertha Berlin until this summer when the decision to hang up his boots was made.

German midfielder Sami Khedira made his debut for the senior team during a friendly game against South Africa.His first game for the four-time world champions took place on September 5, 2009. He played for the final 17 minutes of the game. Khedira was subbed on for Simon Rolfes against the South Africans.

Sami Khedira was part of the German squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa. He was named as a replacement for the injured Michael Ballack ahead of South Africa 2010 by manager Joachim Low. The retired German international featured for his country seven times in South Africa and was substituted twice. Khedira was part of the German team that finished in third place at the end of the tournament.

German midfielder Sami Khedira is set to start a new career after calling it quit with his football career. Khedira announced his retirement from football at the end of the latest German Bundesliga season having spent the second half of the season at capital club Hertha Berlin.

Sami Khedirajoined Hertha Berlin at the start of the year after his contract with Italian Serie A giants Juventus was terminated. The German World Cup winner had six months left on his Juventus contract before he was released by mutual consent. He had earlier signed for Juventus as a free agent in 2015.

German international Sami Khedira has announced that he will soon retire from the round leather game. According to him, he can no longer do what he asks of himself and that he will retire at the end of another injury-hit season.

Veteran German midfielder has been at Hertha Berlin in the top flight since the turn of the year having joined the capital club after his contract with Italian Serie A giants Juventus was cancelled. He had six months left on that Juve contract.

Sami Khedira has spent the majority of his professional football career outside his native Germany unlike the majority of his teammates in the national team. He was a key player for Germany as they won the World Cup title at the 2014 edition in Brazil widely regarded as the home of football.

Khedira came through the ranks at VfB Stuttgart before making his debut as a professional footballer in the second team, VfB Stuttgart II. The midfielder was called up to the German Bundesliga squad at Stuttgart by manager Armin Veh at the start of the 2006/07 season. His first game for the senior team came against Hertha Berlin in the German Bundesliga later that season.

German World Cup winner Sami Khedira was missing as Hertha Berlin returned to winning ways in the German Bundesliga over the weekend. Hertha Berlin had lost three of their last four games in the league before they played hosts to Champions League chasers Bayer Leverkusen. In the end, Hertha Berlin scored three first half goals to secure an impressive 3-0 win over their guests. The capital club scored an early goal through Deyovaisio Zeefulk. The Dutch player provided the opening goal inside four minutes before Martin Cunha added a second goal on 26 minutes. Jhon Cordoba wrapped up an emphatic victory for Hertha Berlin seven minutes later as they recovered from the last league defeat at Borussia Dortmund in style.

German World Cup winner Sami Khedira celebrated a landmark day with an assist in the German Bundesliga last week during the game between hosts VfB Stuttgart and capital club Hertha Berlin. Sami Khedira is back in the German Bundesliga after several years away from the competition. Since leaving Germany, Sami Khedira has played for the big European duo of Real Madrid and Juventus. Sami Khedira had to sign for Hertha Berlin earlier this month after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements by new Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo.
Sami Khedira was completely frozen out of the Juventus team by the club legend. He made his debut for new club Hertha Berlin as a second half substitute for fellow Argentine defensive midfielder Santiago Ascacibar at the start of the month. Sami Khedira entered the fray on 81 minutes with Hertha Berlin trailing 1-0 to champions Bayern Munich courtesy the goal from in-form winger Kingsley Coman. Coman got what proved to be the only goal of the game in the first quarter of the game. The introduction of Sami Khedira for the last five minutes was unable to rescue at least a point for Hertha Berlin.

Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira is back in training with the first team squad at his club after his recent travels to try to find a new club. Sami Khedira is surplus to requirements at Juventus and the German is coming to end of his contract with the Turin giants. He has less than six months remaining on his present deal with the Italian Serie A champions.
Sami Khedira is a World Cup winner with the German national team after he was part of the squad that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in the South American nation of Brazil. Sami Khedira and Germany beat Argentina 1-0 in the final of that tournament towin it with Mario Gotze getting the all-important goal in extra time. Sami Khedira was a big part of that German squad in Brazil.
